This policy applies to all users of LYNX. Violations may result in immediate termination of access and, where warranted, referral to law enforcement.

Purpose
Network intrusion detection is a powerful capability. BreaktroughF1 LLP requires all users to operate LYNX responsibly, lawfully, and with appropriate authorisation.

Authorised Uses
You may use LYNX to:
- Monitor networks you own, administer, or have received explicit written authorisation to monitor.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to security threats on your infrastructure.
- Conduct authorised penetration testing and security assessments.

Prohibited Uses
You must not use LYNX to:
- Monitor individuals or networks without appropriate legal authority or informed consent.
- Intercept communications in violation of applicable wiretapping laws.
- Conduct offensive operations, attacks, or denial-of-service against any system.
- Build surveillance profiles of individuals for discriminatory purposes.
- Reverse engineer or extract proprietary algorithms from the Software.

Operator Obligations
Where LYNX is deployed on a network that processes other people's communications (employees, customers, guests), the deploying organisation must ensure proper legal basis for monitoring, provide appropriate notice, and implement data minimisation.

Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension of your licence, notification of law enforcement agencies, and civil litigation.
