Security First

To maintain the highest level of security, the LYNX platform utilizes strict authorization measures. This guide explains how to navigate these security flows smoothly and why certain protections, like account lockouts, are enforced to protect your data.

Account Creation &
Authorization Flow

Registration Process

Account creation is securely handled through the LYNX Desktop Application. When creating a new account, you must verify your identity via a strict email verification process.

    Enter your details (username, email, password) in the desktop app and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

    Our system will dispatch a 6-digit verification code (OTP) to your email address.
  • 03
    Enter the code into the desktop app within 2 minutes to authorize your new account.

Security Protection: Account Lockout

To protect against automated attacks and unauthorized access attempts, LYNX implements an un-bypassable security lockout mechanism on your email address.

Why am I seeing "Account Locked"?

If you enter an incorrect verification code 3 times, or if you request a new code 3 times, our security systems will temporarily freeze verification requests for your email address.

The lockout lasts for exactly 10 minutes and cannot be bypassed.

Secure Login Flow

Accessing the Platform

Once your account is successfully verified and created, accessing the platform is straightforward. Open the LYNX Desktop Application and enter your registered Username and Password.

Troubleshooting Login Errors:If you receive an "Invalid Credentials" error, ensure that your caps lock is off and you are entering the correct username (not your email address). If you have forgotten your password, proceed to the Reset Password flow.

Password Reset &
Recovery

Recovery Process

If you lose access to your account, you can initiate a secure password reset directly from the desktop login screen. For your safety, the actual reset process takes place in our secure web portal.

01Step 1: Initiation

Click "Forgot Password" in the desktop app and enter your registered email address. The application will securely contact our servers and open your default web browser to the secure recovery portal.

02Step 2: Verification

Check your email for a 6-digit secure recovery code. Enter this code into the web portal to verify your identity.

Note: The same 10-minute security lockout applies here. Do not guess the code. If you haven't received it, wait and use the Resend button.

03Step 3: Synchronization

Create your new password on the web portal. Once accepted, your browser will automatically synchronize the new secure credentials back to your desktop application, and you will be able to log in immediately.
